Robot Mom

It is an unknown year when the story of Robot Mom begins on the moon near an unknown planet. In a world far into the future, the space stations around the world are preparing for Earth’s inhabitants to travel across the universe to another habitable planet to house their aspirations. But tragedy, in the form of a meteor, has stuck the space station, and now the robot must escape to Earth to warn them of the disaster. Your mission is to help the little robot go to earth through solving puzzles and problems in the facility.

Robot Mom is an attractive point and click chain reaction adventure game. In this game, you help a little robot make up his own body first. He is trying to save the earth. To accomplish this goal you must lead him to escape from a facility sitting on the moon. The tiny robot in this game just looks like the character Walle in that famous Pixar animation Wall-E, even they use the same colors mixed with yellow and black. Though lonely as it be, the tiny robot works hard to find a way out.

The gameplay is really simple, but you have to examine every screen for hidden alcoves and secret compartments without enough instructions, only one word or action at some time. The heart of this game is to analyze areas and click on the right spots to make a chain of reactions to advance to the next level. Some puzzles show clear clues for you to follow, but others require your trials repeatedly. In fact, the brute force solution of “clicking everything to see what works” in this kind of puzzle game results from lack of documentation, while there are question marks for hints show up if you get stuck. On the other hand, it may not take effect if you just follow the brute force solution because there are some traps which make you die once you click on them. Will you help him escape from the facility to the earth?
