DIY FRIDAY! AMIGURUMI – ADORABLE AND ANGRY!

We are constantly in awe of the stuff you guys make. You have a DIY attitude and talent that is undeniable. Just one example: the incredible fan art that we receive every day.Take a look through for yourself. So much good stuff! If you’re a DIYer too, and you need some inspiration for your next project (or if you’ve gotten “Toy Maker” in the Angry Birds Career Test), listen up. The clever birds at Rovio Books have put together an awesome book that teaches how to make amigurumi! Amigurumi is a Japanese word that means “knitted stuffed toy”.

 

They’re super cute, and you can make them with some intermediate crocheting skills. If you don’t know how to crochet, why not learn! Here is a good starting point from wikiHow. And a great reference for reading crochet patterns, and remembering stitches can be found here.
